    @CountMike

Now you´ve got me really confused

I´m currently running this version 1809 without expiry date

    Attachment 210930

I think actual current "normal" release is still 1803 -- so I'm confused as to what I'm running on this computer now --it's obviously not the current insider build of 1809 as that expires in Dec and certainly not the standard 1803 build I'm running on other machines.

Really confused now by Ms -- I'm sure I'm not the only one. I do take loads of backups so restoring won't be a problem.

    Cheers

Yes I'm running the same version, .55 1 update from the first release after the Pause or maybe just before the pause can't remember now.

    Hi there

I think I'll just stick with this until "Official" or whatever comes out -- it's working OK on the whole so no reason AFAIK to change it.

    Cheers

If my memory is correct the original release was one month ago today and then pulled days latter , was patched and pulled again.
It was never "pulled again", they just sent .55 CU with some critical fixes for users who had already installed 1809 between 2 - 5 october..

If you attempt to use the 1809 ISO on a connected machine the update process is halted also.

forget it folks. MS is not re-releasing 1809...not yet anyway

though there was this recent article from Thurrott.com titled "Fiasco" describing the current "fiasco" on the 1809 version of Windows 10

    Fiasco - Thurrott.com

also read this blog from Askwoody.com mentioned Nov. 1:

Nothing new... And again, too much speculations and emotions. What many people seem to fail to understand is that MS just cannot afford to release another buggy build now. They are very well aware of that.

That is correct, the only way to get past 17763.55 is thru The Windows Insider Program. One of these days before years end MS will get it released. I hope.

Great idea, lets argue about wording.
