It's not Windows only, all SW is marked like that.

Windows has always been like this, I was never confused by it.

    Hi there

    @CountMike

    Thanks

I'll get that one back into "sync"

Problem is I usually get the builds via UUPDUMP as the generated iso invariably instals very quickly and without problems that I see others have.

BTW on the Skippy build VMWare rel 15 fails - loading up XP VM on that release -- locks sytem - re-boot needed, works fine on this release and 1803 (still use XP VM quite a bit for making custom Vinyl records and minidisc recordings).

    Cheers

Now you´ve got me really confused

I´m currently running this version 1809 without expiry date

    Attachment 210930

I think actual current "normal" release is still 1803 -- so I'm confused as to what I'm running on this computer now --it's obviously not the current insider build of 1809 as that expires in Dec and certainly not the standard 1803 build I'm running on other machines.

Really confused now by Ms -- I'm sure I'm not the only one. I do take loads of backups so restoring won't be a problem.

    Cheers

    That's 1809....the paused version.

17763.107 came out AFTER the one cumulative update 17763.55 for the 17763.1 release that was paused. 17763.1 was the release, and 17763.55 was a cumulative update that came out just before microsoft paused the release.

104 and 107 were RP ring releases only.

You must have the "Paused" 1809 and not even with last update (107)
@jimbo45, I upgraded with an ISO made by the MCT before the pause, I'm currently on 17763.55 too.

The 'paused' public release got the update to 17763.55. That is the latest public update, the update to .107 is only for the Insider Preview ring at present.
