Each time I try to use the 1803 update assistant it tells me that I already have the latest version of windows. If I use the 1809 tool it tells me that there's a version error. I did this after I started having problems with windows slowing to a crawl in everything which I fixed using system restore taking it back as far as I could.

    That's because 1809 hasn't been re-re-released yet.

I check off the ones I've found and share them in the Hub and here.
I gave up with the Hub. Microsoft doesn't listen.

It does feel that way but I live in hope.

I agree and it is not just MS but any big company, Google, Apple etc. I only leave feedback to small open source companies that did not sell out and listen to feedback.

Agreed, my very recent encounter with Intel confirms this: They just do not listen.

For those who released a "disastrous" update package as it was the October 2018, you really think they are bothering with some opinion on the HUB!

    The question should be:

Where is the quality control of this company!

Unfortunately, I only use MSWindows since I started using the computer a few decades ago ... I do not even know how to tinker with Linux...

What do you mean, it's not going to happen? Where did you read this?

Probably means that you can't have an October update in November.

Well, that's what I thought Clintlgm meant, but you know what they say about 'assuming' things. ("Never assume anything...") You're right, though--it is kinda hard to have an 'October' update when October is over.
