More problems? This is becoming quite painful!

This is the same problem that's been discussed for the past several days. It is not another new problem. This issue has been reported serially by all the 'tech journism' outfits for days, so it seems like one new thing after another.

It's not that there are "more" problems, it's the same bug that has been talked in this thread for three days, the article refers to Microsoft (or an agent) posting an official response about this bug, in this post, this had already been mentioned, Microsoft already fixed this bug in 19H1 a long time ago, so I don't think it would be difficult for them to fix it in O18U and I don't know why they have not done it yet.
Two different teams not talking to each other.

What if it fails you one day. That can definitely happens. That's why I always have two third-party backup apps. I can always count on the other one. It had happened to me in the past even though it was not with MR.
I still think MR is the best backup software, but yes it does fail. In the past month, I have had 2 VSS failures and then one Code 9 error. The VSS errors were somewhat easy to fix, but the Code 9 error I found out that Macrium had a patch just for that particular error. I am guessing that if it does not affect you, you don't have to do the patch??

I have never had any errors prior to these last 3

I thought it was another problem similar to but not exactly the issue at hand.
    That's more reassuring!

So if 1809 is not released until Jan 2019, will it still be 1809?

    Should have said re-re-RE-RE-RE-RELEASED.

Another fix for a bug that has been talked about a lot in this thread comes to 19H1, the bug of the notifications of the Action center, which occurs when you disable apps in the background.
    Build 18267:
Windows 10 October 2018 Update rollout now paused-action-center.jpg
I did several tests and, in my case, in the build 18267, that bug doesn't happen anymore, now we just have to wait for it to arrive to the slow ring and RP with some CU...

I noticed that. That bug has been there for a long time.

Pretty sure this isn't some mass marketing scheme. 1809 was simply pushed out too fast with too many show stopping bugs.
Actually, there's only one really showstopping bug - well known file deletion bug. The rest could be easily at any time fixed with a CU. Yes, of course, there is a bit different situation now...
