Windows 10 October 2018 Update rollout now paused

Pretty sure this isn't some mass marketing scheme. 1809 was simply pushed out too fast with too many show stopping bugs.

"Basic Capitalism --101" from back in the times when humans first created commercial markets maybe around 5,000 years ago. Note -- No Politics -- Free markets work for me too -- but I do get a bit cynical from time to time as this type of stuff can go wildly out of control if there's no sensible business frameworks in place so it just doesn't become "dog eat Dog" all the time.

Ms will eventually sort this mess out -- they really aren't that stupid -- some stockholders etc will inject a bit of realism back into the market.

This may work in Retail but not with OS's once they have been released to the customers. The ones that got it were not chosen they just happened to either be aq member here or checked WU Faster. This release has been a nightmare and a procedural change for MS.

Back in the 90's when I was a Systems Engineer, we used to tongue-in-cheek say that Microsoft's production releases were not as well tested as our Betas. I guess some things haven't changed.

It's not that there are "more" problems, it's the same bug that has been talked in this thread for three days, the article refers to Microsoft (or an agent) posting an official response about this bug, in this post, this had already been mentioned, Microsoft already fixed this bug in 19H1 a long time ago, so I don't think it would be difficult for them to fix it in O18U and I don't know why they have not done it yet.
