What if it fails you one day. That can definitely happens. That's why I always have two third-party backup apps. I can always count on the other one. It had happened to me in the past even though it was not with MR.
It has never failed me in the 4 years that I have had it installed.

I've only had one problem and that was with the File & Folder backup. It wasn't backing up small files that were in a directory with large files. I reported the problem and it was fixed in a couple of days. Never had an issue with imaging.

A matter of choice. MR has never failed me either and is my go-to app for backups, but I don't like to take chances. I definitely prefer to play it safe.

Macrium has never once failed me. I started using it back during Win7. When Windows 8 came out, I had it, 7 and XP installs on MR images and switched around several times a day for more than a week comparing and taking things from one setup to add to another. It all went smoothly.

What have you done if the incremental backup image was made at the time of undetected operating system or registry corruption?
Do you make static backup images?

I don't know what version you use but I use The paid version. I have never used it to backup files or folders just the entire system.

I do not make incremental images, only full ones.

I was experimenting. It wasn't long after I first had it. I now use FreeFileSync for data backups.

How many images do you have at any one time? (What size approximately?)
