Yes, I think we’re all feeling skittish after what has transpired but we hope the release will fix most virulent bugs - if not all of them. Well, we know all of them is not very likely based on history!

Well, that's why I backup every day. I have 2 third-party backup apps, namely MR & EaseUS ToDo. One day it's one of them, the next day it's the other. So, with that in mind, I am never afraid of installing new CUs or FUs

I just wish that MS would get on with it. Tired of waiting.

    These 'ere Defender definitions...

So I see on here (now)
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/definitions

It says Version: 1.279.367.0 is the latest and yet 30 minutes ago it was 1.279.373.0 of which I have a copy.

Defender has already updated to that though. Seems odd that the page with the definitions on seems to keep alternating between these.

(if you wonder what I'm doing, well I was just amusing myself and contemplating installing the latest version offline and then seeing if I got the failed install notices)

Edit... its just again changed to 1.279.373.0 this very minute.

Edit... Two minutes later and its 1.279.370.0 and 30 seconds later its back to 1.279.367.0

i agree and I back up daily with MR - tried to use Windows image program, which I used to run weekly. It doesn’t work any more. I saw another post on one of the forum threads indicating a similar problem.

Those were the days (cue for a song ?)

Commodore 64, Commodore 128....and what was considered the 'bees knees' way back then....THE AMIGA!

    You're right, no updates....zilch!

Only problem was.....Commodore would bring out a new (must have) machine every couple of years.

    ...and for more computer nostalgia:

:) Some of my friends had the Commodore computers, but for me, it all started with this system:

And I also had the white one, the CoCo2 with Floppy Disk controller and 2 Floppy Stations. :) Those where the days. :)

Lucky you I don't see the platform update though.

Every few minutes the version on the downloads page changes. Its going round in circles.

Sitting on the update page you linked to. Every 2-3 seconds, I F5, it wanders around just like your 3 Amigos!
