Just try updating badly neglected W7 system and you'll know what trouble means.

Life would get very boring if there were perfect MS releases all the time, we need something to talk over. However it looks almost like MS have said to their workforce "we have a way to lower your workload, let the Insiders find the bugs." Trouble is they seem to ignore a lot of what we report then release a version to the general public which in a lot of cases screws up then put it on hold for an indefinite period.
Life doesn't get much better does it

There is no piece of software that is perfect but MS used to Test builds in house before the Insider Program. Those people were let go and now they rely on Insiders and whoever or whatever Bot reads The Hub.

Congratulations Bill. Your POS 1809 update completely crashed my system. Thanks again. Oh well it worked okay for 3 years or so. I needed the training to put it all back together. FYI I started the PC about a week ago or so and with no warning, BOOM it just stopped dead in the road. Back ups saved my bacon but a real pain to clean install. Usually I participate in the go ahead stuff or developer but decided to ride out 1809 with the normal WU process. So, in my opinion, it doesn't matter how you try to advance MS will humble any thought you had of that happening.

Waiting for the next bust.

Pretty sure this is not deserved but, my family accuses me of intentionally crashing the master beast so they can't play fb, insta or twitt. What do they know that I don't? Not one of them updates anything or knows about security and then when the poop hits the fan I will get a phone call for immediate assistance.

Just sayin and, I am with all of you dealing with this mess.
