You can do it right now with Revo Uninstaller.

    Hi folks

I think a lot missing the point

Of course a load of junk can be uninstalled by one way or the other -- the main gripe is that this junk shouldn't be installed by default in the first place !!! - especially on so called "Pro" (Professional) editions.

Actually if only HOME had that rubbish installed by default I'm sure the sales of PRO as opposed to Home would immediately rocket by a huge margin as there really would be a mega difference between the 2 editions.

    cheers

I have a dumb question, so it's ok to ask. If I forget the answer, then it's a stupid question!

I have all my 1803 OSs set like this right now:

Windows 10 October 2018 Update rollout now paused-2018-10-21_11h56_18.png

When/if 1809 comes out of it's Release Coma, what should I expect to happen? A notice I have it on 30 day hold? An option to go ahead? Nothing!!!???

    Thanks.....

Keith, that's something I never could find. I'm presuming it is from the first sniff of a Feature Update detected by good 'ole WU. But........wasn't sure, hence the 30 days, not 5 or 7 or.......

I set that on 10/05, after I reconstituted my MR backup of 1803. So, worse case, it's good till 11/04. If it ain't out by then, there's a whole different set of issues!

Well, as far as I haven't got any issue with the uptade, I just detected a bug.

Aside from the delay when you try to create a 'New' file using right click on the desktop, I found that Explorer goes sticky when, for example, you try to get or open a file from a program. For example: I use PIxResizer to change the size of an image on the fly. Pretty quick and easy. So, when I go to select a concrete image, the window gets frozen for a while.

The same happens when trying to get an image from Word, for example, or when I try to reach other type of files.

My systems are fully imaged on 1803, so when 1809 or the next major release is rolled out, I will be ready.

One of my Laptops already has 1809 and I have not yet had a real problem.
However, it wrecked two other systems, especially my HP printing software which is critical.

    FWIW.
