And, @winactive You're so right, the whole Testing Team at MS seems to have forgotten its basic principles.
Unit, System, Integration, UI, REGRESSION Testing all have their places - at least they should in a well-organised Development Cycle!

Well, that's what I heard from a person who was a tester at Microsoft and they all got fired a couple of years ago. He already cautioned the higher ups about this and warned them that this could eventually bite them in the ass. Well, it seems he was right, seeing what is happening with the current release.

I don't know details of that, but as I've mentioned here before, MS (UK) didn't pay their contract testers very well.
I was offered (via an agency) an interview with them some years ago for a contract test role - I didn't even consider it worth going to the interview!

And of course with the insider programs they have loads of seemingly willing guinea pigs who spend a lot of their own free time testing and also attempting to debug stuff that should be done in the Ms labs. For Ms seems a win-win situation !!!!

And, as has been said elsewhere, MS's corporate clients simply wait until we mugs have tested it before they update, rather than MS presenting the whole world with a finished product at outset.

I'd rather they get out of applets business, leave that to 3rd party developers and concentrate on OS itself.

I already confirmed that the bug exists but I also confirmed that this bug is not present in the Fast ring and Skip Ahead builds, so Microsoft may already know about this bug and they are going to back ported the fix to O18U with a CU as they have done several times in the past and as they did recently with the fix of the bugs of the task manager.

I never use Windows Explorer to extract files because there is no support for 7zip files. I install Bandizip right away.

Looks like MS is run with raccoons: what was good, they demolish... and say: aww, just let it slide, the Insiders won't notice it probably...
