Yes that certainly seems to be the case on my systems. I use Chrome a lot and there seems to be a correlation.
Your earlier suggestion: setting Local Activation for 'Users' is interesting too.
Well I have figured out it is needed for Chrome due to it is executing in User sandbox mode even if yourself is Administrator. Perhaps other apps as well but Chrome is the one that I know about.

Maybe many non-MS apps do that by design which is maybe why MS are telling us to ignore the Events?

I can repeatedly force them to occur by opening Chrome OR Adobe Acrobat Reader, so as i mentioned above "Maybe many non-MS apps do that by design.........."

See @Fredrik comment in 2140 above.

I honestly don't know but ignoring them, as suggested, seems a reasonable idea - filter them out if you like but we're going around in circles now....

The Windows permission settings are a mess. Not even the built in Administrator has acces to pretty much anything, anywhere. Everything is owned by Trusted Installer in the registry and it's a pain to modify something.

What's the point of having a built in Administrator account if he can't do squat when needed?
Want to be Trusted Installer? For the brave of heart, this is very useful. PowerRun v1.3 (Run with highest privileges)

Not an endorsement. Use common sense.

Although PowerRun is my favorite, may I also add to Dick's suggestion the much simpler execti

    And to add again:

    Thanks!

From here on, I will build my custom image from scratch and set all permissions and services exactly how I want them, so I never have to fiddle with it again. Maybe even script it, so It's a one click run for everything.
