    Hi folks
anybody tested the iso you can make by using UUPDUMP. Any different than the version BEFORE it was pulled from the Insider rings.

    Cheers

Impossible to tell - the MS isos are multi SKU. The uupdump multiversions do not have all the same SKUs.

I think that if there is any way that fails then a new iso is required. MS would be crucified if anyone lost data on a repair install because of this.

    Upvote Done, Martin!

Don't think you can edit your feedback, not sure. But this will cock an eyebrow or two!

I agree - in fact I usually install or repair without connecting to Internet as it is quicker.
I posted instructions about how to make 17763.55 install media by updating 17763.1 media in this thread a few days ago: Windows 10 October 2018 Update rollout now paused - Page 148 - Windows 10 Forums

    An easy process, works well.

    No.

In UUP Dump, if you select Fetch latest build, it shows 17763.17:

Windows 10 October 2018 Update rollout now paused-image.png

However, when you download it and make ISO, it is 17763.1:

Windows 10 October 2018 Update rollout now paused-image.png

The same if you choose Browse known builds in UUP Dump. Whatever of alternatives shown in screenshot below you choose, the ISO made from any of them will be 17763.1:

Easiest way to get 17763.55 install media for repair / clean installs at the moment is to use UUP Dump and UUPtoISO to get 17763.1 ISO, make a USB install media of it, and upgrade it to 17763.55 as told in those instructions I posted.

IDK about you guys but I've noticed that switching windows is slower now than in 1803 when WOW (World of Warships) is involved in the mix.
