    That's odd, I have the 'hover' setting in 1809 Home through the Control Panel. This machine was upgraded from 1803...

    @Bree is correct. @dalchina

    I mixed Control Panel with Settings when dalchina clearly stated Control Panel.

    I see what Bree sees when you go to the real Control Panel.

    Now come on, that's MS's job.. surely!

    Thanks, does the route I posted in the thread work for you to get to that Ease of Access gui?

    Not sure of which posting

    I got there by clicking Start, typing Control Panel, clicking on Control panel at top of list, then clicking Ease of Access, then clicking "Change how your mouse works" under the heading "Ease of Access Center"

    So in location bar it looks like this although this is not a valid path statement.

    Control Center > Ease of Access > Ease of Access Center > Make the mouse easier to use

    I shouldn't have 2nd guessed MS and tried to be clever and use Settings.
    Windows key + R, control
    Cortana, control
    etc would have worked.. even Settings, control (via 'More') or control panel
    Wonder what Cortana makes of 'Ease of Access' in 1809?

    She has the same blind spot as the Settings search.

    Just a little bit of a suggestion/thought I've had the past days.

    It would be interesting to know how many of those who had troubles with the October Update have been using cleaners as CCleaner or the likes of. Maybe has nothing to do, but seriously, since I stopped using that kind of software, I barely had any problem with CU and big upgrades.

    Microsoft nor anyone else here has mentioned 3rd party apps as being involved in the Setup.exe problems with the 17763.1 upgrade. Microsoft has already published the reasons, and nothing to do with cleaners or snake oil.
