If the group policy is the cause of the pause, nice symentry, then lets hope none of the Home users havn't experienced this.
    (no group policy - Home)

You're right of course, but I have seen "solutions" to that particularly a batch file called gpedit-enabler from here https://www.itechtics.com/easily-ena...-home-edition/

which purports to allow access to the Policy Editor in Home.

I'll admit to having examined it and i don't actually understand what it's doing, therefore so far i haven't tried it, but does anyone here have any experience of it?
Happy to attach it as a text file to a post if anyone wishes.

Nope, I still see the page as an April version. So: No.

I don't want to install 1809 right now. So I want to upgrade 1709 to 1803 via windows update. I have a w10 pro pc, it's now on defered update. so, 1803 is still available via windows update?

As 1803 was the April update, see 1262 above.
I like your style - given the incompetence shown by MS, 6 months is a very sensible time to wait to install a Feature update!

Not thru Windows Update...MCT or Upgrade Assistant.

    MCT: Download Windows 10

Didn't this thread say something about "paused" yesterday, now it says "available"? Apparently Brink thinks it's being rolled out today.
