Then it would seem that MS does not even look at The Feedback Hub. I am having no problems at all. I used the WCT to upgrade though and do not use One Drive.
I had issues after upgrading via Windows Update, not that issue though. I do use OneDrive, just not for My personal files. I put pictures etc up in my Public folder. Everything else is just stored locally.

    Hi folks

I can't say I ever had "User files" deleted -- still can't believe that an OS would delete "User files" when doing an update.

Incidentally though users should always move documents / downloaded files / pictures to their own data areas (preferably not on the OS drive) because restoring a system or re-installing a system will re-create these files and your latest data can be lost / overwritten quite legitimately.

    Cheers

I never have any "User files" or anything like that in Documents and Downloads, everything is set to another disks and backed up on top of it.

I used The MCT to upgrade and have no problems at all. In fact this was the first upgrade I had that only took one try.

I had bad lagging and unresponsiveness. One minute its fine, then it just goes into slow motion. Web browsing, pages loading really slowly, even file explorer taking ages to refresh the page. Networking is messed up too. My web camera feeds were lagging badly. This PC is on ethernet.
All back to normal now after doing a roll back.
WIFI keeps dropping out on my other spare desktop I did a clean install on. It just goes to unconnected. My network is shown in the list, it just won't connect without rebooting. Then it works, and randomly drops the connection again.
IMHO they dropped the ball "again" on this one. QA seems to be an after thought, fix it after release.

I guess it affects only a few people? I have IPv6 fully disabled and everything works, Edge, Store, Weather.
    Yeah same here.
Everything works fine after the update. I've had no crashed or wierd things happen since the update.
Just that the update broke my custom config, took about an hour or so to restore everything.
Cept from that, my win10 is now just as fast & as stable as before, if not better now.
My Update Assistant did look abit wierd...

I updated 2 computers, both connected to same OneDrive and earlier I also updated 2 VMs that were connected to same OneDrive. No files missing here.
Same thing here. I updated to 1809 via Windows Update about 3 days ago, so far no problems and no missing files, OneDrive-synched or not.

I have updated 5 pcs so far without issues. The only issues I have noticed are (this pc):

    1. Windows spotlight was broken (gray static image) and I have been unable to resolve yet fully (now static image).
    2. You need to use DDU and reinstall nVidia graphic drivers. Otherwise they seem fine but OpenCL is disabled.
    3. I previously had two drivers for my laser printer (PCL5 and PS). Windows has just deleted PS driver without asking.
    4. Built-in defrag was set to defaults (I usually don't have any schedule set).

Other than that, v1809 seems to be working quite fine (no loss of documents here). I do not use Onedrive and all my personal files are located on a different physical drive.

I did notice on a couple of computers that the Upgrade to 1809 seemed to have made the decision that the printer needed installing again calling it Copy 1 on the icon, renaming to remove that wasn't too difficult. It would impact a program's auto print function with the Default printer, using File, Print would give the choice to change.

I had this same problem much earlier (1803 or earlier). There's a Tenforums tutorial that may help (it did for me):

Hope it works. The only difference I can see is that my Spotlight was stuck on the "backpack and mountain lake" image
that seems to be the default, but not a gray image.

Any info on how the people who are already on 1809 will be helped?
