Then be more judicious with the backup strategy. All you need is a backup of 1803 and 1809 after installation.

In 1803 it is possible to make your highlited item in cotextmenus ( by hovering mouse) lightblue.
This is possible when ; HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\FlightedFeatures
In the right pane of 'FlightedFeatures', create a New?DWORD (32-bit) Value,
name it ImmersiveContextMenu,
give it a data value of 0 and click OK.
Close the Registry Editor, restart Explorer or Logoff and back on or Restart.

This suddenly does not work anymore in 1809 ! All is grey......
Searching for a new solution...........( some help/support would be awsome)

f14tomcat , you showed it should work still on 1809 !
I can not activate it anymore , do you have a solution for ImmersiveContextMenu.......?

It looks like things are getting more serious for the new Update Oct / 2018More updates on the issues with this latest update:

Microsoft's latest feature update for Windows 10 may have been a little too rushed. Since its release, users have encountered a host of bugs relating to Task Manager, Intel drivers and more; some users have even seen their data deleted after the update.

The newest bug encountered by users is a lack of connectivity in some apps following the update. A report on Microsoft's support forums shows users complaining about Edge, Mail, Calendar, and News being unable to connect to the internet.

One user writes:

After installing the Windows 10 October 2018 update (version 1809), Microsoft Store apps are no longer able to connect to the Internet. For example, Microsoft Edge is unable to connect to any websites, displaying the message, “Hmmm...can’t reach this page.” Apps like Mail, Calendar, and News are not working properly. And Microsoft Store says to check my connection.
Non-Store apps, such as Internet Explorer, are still able to connect to the Internet.

Microsoft has since confirmed that it is an issue that the company is aware of, and working on fixing. A Microsoft employee stated that the problem only affects users who have IPv6 disabled. While the company works on a fix, users are recommended to circumvent the problem by enabling IPv6 in their network settings as follows:

Open the Settings app and select Networking & Internet > Network and Sharing Center.
Select the network adapter you're using (by clicking the appropriate link next to “Connections”) and select Properties.
On the Networking tab, select the checkbox next to Internet Version 6 (TCP/IPv6).
Select OK to save your changes.

As our own Rich Woods explains, the company's changes to how it propagates Windows releases earlier this year may be causing undue strain and could be part of why both the April and the October 2018 updates experienced such early pains. That the company decided to entirely skip the Release Preview ring this time around probably didn't help matters, either.

Update: It seems network profile settings may be an additional factor causing the connectivity issues, even if IPv6 is enabled. A subsequent response by another Microsoft employee on the support thread offers the following solution if you're still experiencing issues after IPv6 is enabled:

If you still having issues after enabling IPv6, I suggest changing your network profile to Public. Go to Settings, Network & Internet and click on Change connection properties. Under Network profile, click on Public.

If that doesn’t work, run Network reset. This will reinstall your network adapters and set other networking components back to their original settings. You might need to reinstall any VPN software or virtual switches after. Go to Settings, Network & Internet and click on Network reset. Click on Reset now.

Windows Defender last update time shows wrong time (+3h) like its timestamping from the server instead of the machine.
Last scan time is OK though.

Anyway to resolve?

I started by searching for remove red organization warnings in win 10 1809 and came across this: You're probably not in an organization, but you do have 10pro with grpedit, use windows defender (from your specs), and the red warning. That app guard link in the quote shows how to go to grpedit to check settings. There may be a setting there to stop the warnings.

I'd help more with grpedit but I have 10home and no grpedit to explore to help you out. but looking further that app guard link led me to MS's Configure Windows Defender Application Guard policy settings site and that may explain the group policy settings.

From that site I found in the left panel this MS link that just might be what you're looking for: Manage Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection alerts when you land on that page look to the right panel and you'll see a list of articles for the topic one of which is Suppress Alerts, the fourth paragraph is: Bingo! If the org setting to suppress doesn't work try the machine one, heck if it'll let you do it, leave 'em both on.

There are two caveats you should be aware of:

You have to have Windows Defender Application Guard enabled and you can check for that in Control Panel >Programs >Turn Windows Features On or Off it's explained here at the top.
You may have to sign up for and install Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection if you don't already have it, it's also explained at the top.

My biggest complaint about the update is that it resized all of my windows forcing me to reset them. I did have some issues with my logitech gaming software in that it stopped working after initially working forcing me to reinstall it. My audio has also started acting weird in that there's a noticeable lag when starting a YouTube video and it takes a second or two for the sound to start after the video has started playing.
