It should eventually be coming down via Windows Update.

Does this mean that it won't be released through the Media Creation Tool but only through Windows Update for now?

Checking WU right now. Goes off to look for other sources: not yet available on MSDN downloads/MyVisualStudio Subscriptions. Windows 10 Update Assistant still shows an April 2018 date. Am getting zip through WU right now, too. Perhaps it's going to take a while? Drat!

PS: nothing through Insider Channels, either. In the immortal words of Gary Larson "What is this? ... Some kind of cruel hoax?"

This just popped up (3:55 PM CDT). Let the games begin!

Building install media using MCT right now. Still don't see it in WU.

    [57 minutes later]
Now getting it from WU here in TX. Seems to go faster by WU than MCT, curiously enough.

[18 hrs later] First two machines upgraded without issue, though it did take a long time on both the Asrock Extreme7+ i7-6700 mobo and the Lenovo T520 (dual-core i7 mobile Haswell). The Lenovo X220 Tablet failed on the first try, and I fired off the post-GUI reboot just before going to bed last night. It was complete and working when I got to me desk this morning.

Guess its via MCT now (when it's updated), and via WU later.

    OK. I'll bite.

    What's the build number?

I just tried the experiment of leaving the Insider builds from 17763.1. I was able to do that, which suggests that it's the GA build or really close.
