Windows 10 October 2018 Update rollout now paused  

So far no activation issues for me. I upgraded to 1809 on Oct. 3rd.

Several hours ago? AFAIK I did not got that message, how to fix it if I do get it?

Started my PC this morning and got a notification that Windows was not activated. Clicked on the notification and it showed it was actually activated. Weird. I am running 1809 since first released and all seems to work for me. Haven't explored many of the bugs posted here because haven't had much time but I like to read up on this one for anything new.

The technician said to try a reboot or wait for several more days for a fix of the activation problem.

Yes, just wait for several more days. You know, knock off work, go fishing, get caught up with your yard work. Sheesh.

This is not a bug. It is a server issue. All my Pro installs including vms are affected. See below.

One thing os for sure 1809 will not be released until this is resolve.

Hi,There is an ongoing issue about Windows 10 suddenly shown as deactivated. The affected users need not to do anything as it is a known issue. Here is what was told by Microsoft Chat support:Microsoft has just released an Emerging issue announcement about current activation issue related to Pro edition recently. This happens in Japan, Korea, American and many other countries.I am very sorry to inform you that there is a temporary issue with Microsoft's activation server at the moment and some customers might experience this issue where Windows is displayed as not activated.
Our engineers are working tirelessly to resolve this issue and it is expected to be corrected within one to two business days
