I saw that and it was in 1803 as well per this guy.
Some supported versions of Windows 10 appear to have a bug currently that prevents the successful execution of the Registry backup task that is enabled by default on PCs running the operating system.
Windows 10 includes a task that creates backups of the Windows Registry regularly when the system is idle. These backups are placed in the C:\Windows\System32\config\RegBack and can be used to restore the Registry.
Current versions of Windows 10, including at the very least Windows 10 version 1803 and 1809, and the latest Insider builds of version 1903, report in the Task Scheduler that the Registry backup task completed successfully when it has not in fact.
When I noted a problem with this in 1709 (I had to add a trigger for the task to run) I asked Bree and Caledon Ken to advise status in 1803. They confirmed that this scheduled task did not function at all- even when run manually.
They read this forum, they are well aware of the problem.
I had some great native Canadian (First nation) friends in Canada. Small place close to Toronto. A small tribe Sedore of Ottawa nation. I used to stop there every time I was going "up north" to cottage country. One of my best friend's grandfather even willed me his two rifles, 1897 Winchester 38-50 and 1912 Winchester pump shotgun. They always had great smoked salmon and other meats. Old people were quite conservative but nobody had anything against a good backup, of ammo that is. I used to reload a lot of shotgun shells and did it for them too. Younger ones didn't seem to pay much attention to tradition. worked in the city end except for this friend of mine didn't go back even for visit. Quite a pity, those old people had a lot of wisdom to spread specially about sharing.

I just had a look at that folder on my pc, and it is empty.
Exactly. That's the significance. There's a scheduled task, but it doesn't succeed in 1803 and needs a trigger adding in 1709.
