Linux is easy to learn , come with all the software you need.

This feature update was released in October, then Microsoft simply paused it (as they say) so it's still the "October 2018 Update".

What's up with the fixation in the name of the latest update? For me it's version 1809, and that's it.

They could rename it "Strangled Ninja Cats and crushed Taco Hats" for all I care. Still as confusing as "October update"

Yes, exactly as said above - it IS released, only rollout was paused!

I always refer to the previous update as A18U, I don't use numbers (nor will I use them) and to this update I have always called it O18U (and I will continue to do so), without numbers.
