Yet another issue in 1809 which has not yet been fixed. It doesn't honour the setting to stop recent items displaying in Jump Lists. Switching it to off clears the lists but they start to build up again if you leave it off.

A thought- maybe we need a good comprehensive checklist of bugs to watch for?

Sure, some sites list some bugs... is there a way to build up a cumulative list and mark them off when the build is released?

But, but, but according to MS there are no known issues.

Sounds like a good idea. I check off the ones I've found and share them in the Hub and here.

This should help to clear it up......

There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know.

I see they still haven't cleared up the Notifications needing Background Apps to be on issue yet. That's been going on many builds.

    Hi there

Isn't Ms following on IBM's mainframe tradition (when it was known as "Big Blue") -- It's not a bug --it's a Feature.

So far I've got no specific problems with this release yet but I still have to test Office 2019.

    Cheers

Each time I try to use the 1803 update assistant it tells me that I already have the latest version of windows. If I use the 1809 tool it tells me that there's a version error. I did this after I started having problems with windows slowing to a crawl in everything which I fixed using system restore taking it back as far as I could.

That's because it has still not been re-released to the general public.

How about browsing for most prevalent - some dated back from VISTA/7/8.x times - issues reported and discussed on this & MS Forum (and few others)?

Clearing the mess as reported in EventViewer would probably be a good start.
