Even at this early hour (least on this side of the Pond), there is a decent audience.
Google Analytics does a fairly decent job of scraping sites and compiling a bazillion searches. Just Googled the thread title. First hit. I know, it is very word specific, so no surprise there. But even with the words mixed up or some omitted, TF is still in the top 10 ten hits. Point is, what is said here is seen globally, and does have an impact. The current 34 guests (now 39) didn't just stumble into the site. The tidbits, along with the main topic, are seen widely.

Yep - Users are not obliged to read the thread. In reality what happens we get the period of boredom, and then somebody finds a new issue, and we get a flurry of replies, and then back to boredom mode.
The boredom banter helps buildup a community spirit and this site is one of the best I know for that, and everybody really tries to help each other. We do not get the nauseous "re***t" type site nastiness here which mods crackdown on immediately.
Of course if the mods feel we are in an "active" comment phase and we are digressing too much, we expect them to nudge us gently back into focus, as indeed they do do that now and then.
Right now we are in a navel contemplation phase, and if we get real news we will be back in focus or else a new thread will start anyway.
That is a new word for me!
I shall have to use it. Pronunciation may be tricky
Om - fallow - skep - sis ?
Just got to work out how to weave it into a casual conversation - lol.
PS - I always spit coffee out as that is the only beverage in the entire world I am allergic to afaik, and I have tried sone weird stuff down the years.
Martin, last diversion on this one, then back to standard diversions....
You can hear the nice guy speak the pronunciation to you. Sorry, no UK accent.....

I don't mind these insider build threads being filled with hundreds of pages of nonsense. I think it's a good thing and it shows that there are active people around.
These threads are filled with opinions mostly and very little useful information that would be relevant in the very near future. But if we find something that can help make Windows 10 generally work better, then someone will make a tutorial out of it.
Keep the "garbage" coming guys, so we don't have to feel alone.![]()
