Windows 10 October 2018 Update rollout now paused

    My two other systems in the office are now using Windows Update to load 17763. It was not offered yesterday or today on my everyday LapTop so I used the tool.


    Hopefully these two will go as good as the original system.

    Updated, got black screen on first boot after login...After 5 minutes of waiting I had to hard reset PC but next boot was normal and everything works now.

    My Laptop went to 1809 yesterday...
    My Desktop is still waiting as of this post...

    How long do I have to wait for their "phased" update, lol?
    I would like to understand the logic (if there is any) from MS.

    You can always use win update assistant - I did on one of my systems. Did fine

    I KNOW MOST OF YOU GUYS have unlimited data plans, and couldn't care less about download size, but for those less fortunate - with very low caps - can someone please say approximately how much data does WU use to d/l the x86, pro version? THANKS

    I think this has to do with the graphics API...

    ShowKeyPlus uses animations as well and when selecting dark mode (by clicking the Version link) it will also flash... I have tried various code gymnastics but nothing works...
