Josey Just a recent Observation LOL. It won't bring me any grief either 1809 working like a charm, cumulative update too.
What the next (long awaited for some) CU will bring nobody knows. MS "Trick or Treat" I just may hold OFF on the next update seeing my PC is working just fine. I still have 2 PC's to update from 1803. Later!

maybe, maybe..... more likely tomorrow. MS likes Tuesdays. Plus, tomorrow is the official-unofficial 4th Tuesday out-of-band patch day.

Don't count on it. I just found this over at Neowin.net:

More file management issues reportedly plague the Windows 10 October 2018 Update - Neowin

Users still having file management issues, and here's the last line of the article: " Some users might have been hoping that Microsoft re-releases the update this Tuesday, although that now seems somewhat unlikely."

So, I won't be holding my breath.

    @ Scottyboy99

Those were the days (cue for a song ?)

Commodore 64, Commodore 128....and what was considered the 'bees knees' way back then....THE AMIGA!

    You're right, no updates....zilch!

Only problem was.....Commodore would bring out a new (must have) machine every couple of years.

    ...and for more computer nostalgia:

Microsoft already fixed this bug in 19H1:

Likewise my first was fine also. But as I look back now I wonder how I managed with a cassette tape for storage....

I will do the next CU as I always, always use Macrium Reflect to image my system before hand. Neowin is a tad behind on their reporting, that has been known for sometime.
