Would expect those to be in next week's Patch Tuesday bag of goodies. Or before, no telling.
For some reason I have no sound, installed Creative's driver and tried the usual things, not sure what it is.
Alright, Windows has been annoyingly nagging to upgrade on 2 computers the whole day, so I guess it's time to click the restart button.
Wonder what will brake this time. Expecting the worse and hoping for the best.![]()
Same, had 1803 on a Intel laptop, added HDD to AMD desktop, everything was fine, until security updates made it slow. Set it to upgrade to 1809 over night for several hours and that didn't solve it. So replaced HDD and Installed with usb on totally empty drive. Took 10-15min and no performance issues or delays as before with a laptop WD blue 2.5" 1tb 128mb cache HDD on a desktop system.
What went wrong?
My 1GB atom tablet with 32GB drive updated smooothly in the first go, and all drivers are working etc. :- D.
Hi folks
anybody who has Sound / video problems -- go into control panel (it's still there -- just type control panel from the windows logo) -->device manager - scan down the list and for video / sound right mouse click -->update driver -->let windows search the net and you'll find it works -- I got a better video intel HD driver than the original one when I installed windows.
Cheers

I had this issue before, 10 installed the latest driver, which did not work (I assume, that both devices have to use the same driver, just like with APU). Installing Creative did nothing, since an older driver can not overwrite the newer one (mine is 6.0.102.50, Windows has 6.0.105.17). Try to uninstall it and also select to delete drivers for both, the sound card and audio controller, restart and install Creative. Good luck.
