    That's a thought...will my Kindle run Windows 10?
    If it would, Steven, I'd have gotten one for myself when I got the one for my daughter's birthday back in August. I'm waiting for Black Friday; hopefully they'll be on sale again and I can get one for me this time.

    With very few new features and skeletal fixes arriving with each new Build, we could be bored for quite some time!!!
    Nah, don't think so. Once we Insiders have the "final build", I think things will pick up again.

    Hi there

    @Wynona

    I don't know whoever said e-books are dying -- when travelling kindles are absolutely brilliant - the later paper white models come with 4GB internal memory - enough space for zillions of books -- you can use epub too -- download calibre (free e-book manager), import the epub into your calbre library and convert to mobi / AZI3 - attach kindle to computer and then upload converted e-book to your kindle. "seemples" !!!!

    Calibre runs just fine on this build too. Free software as well. Brilliant program.

    calibre - E-book management

    Cheers

    Question - about this build...how do you remove the blurred effect on the login Welcome screen? (I'm sure it's obvious, but I cannot find it on a cursory glance). Thanks in advance.

    You can’t as this is a major feature, don’t you know?

    I thought I saw somewhere that if you supply your own image it is not blurred. Don't have skippy so I can't test.

    Not so, Keith. When I log in, I can see my image, but then it turns blurred in a bit. I'll have to go log into Skippy to see how it actually does it.

    Edit: OK, I click on the Skippy partition and the lock screen I chose comes up, then I click Escape and up comes my (quite clear) avatar with a very ugly blurry version of my lock screen. It's so bad that if it wasn't the blurred colors of my lock screen, I wouldn't recognize it.

    I suppose it doesn't bother me because my login screen is just that - I don't study it, I log in to the computer.
