Now to the point. If you are trying to run Windows 10 and really use the TB storage you get with an Office 365 subscription like I have you WILL run into disk space problems eventually on less than TB sized hard drives.
I have now with this update and had to take the drastic (and I hoping not permanent) deletion of One Drive files from the VM. So its a race between One Drive replacing my files and WU performing the update. Well actually it is uuptoiso and the restart. UUPttoISO should win and I will be able to move the iso back into onedrive and delete the uuptoiso folder. We will see ...Done time for restart

    Done and done
The background terminal is running Ubuntu 10.4 as a Universal App (you can keep that MS but as for most of these free or 99cent programs are kludges. The Winver image courtesy of the admirable (and free) Winaero Tweaker allowing me to post Winver without exposing my MS account.

One last screenshot. This one shows Firefox running under Linux for Windows (Ubuntu 18.04 LTS). Thanks to invaluable Xming,

Thank you MS for removing this from beta. Can you in fact use System Settings to install features yet Brink (and if you can you actually install NET Framework 3.5?)

Just been testing Paragon Backup & Recovery Free. Fully working on this build plus fully supports Mounting/Unmounting drives. Prefer Macrium, but as it's not allowing mounting drives (at present), I thought I'd do back ups with alternative software as well.

    Hi there
I think Net framework 3.5 now can only be downloaded if you have an MSDN / Visual studio account -- strange -- some old legacy stuff though still needs it.

It's fine when doing upgrade from standard system to 1809 build 17763.1 but can't install on skippy -

You can run quite a lot of Linux GUI apps from the WSL if you install an X-Server on Windows such as XMING etc -- not all will run but a load will. I'm sure I posted somewhere on the forums on how to make it work though.

    cheers

I have no such stress at all with OneDrive, all thanks to OneDrive Files on Demand feature.

    Tutorials:

See how much disk space the OneDrive shown in embedded tweet below is using on one of my test virtual machines:

@Kari and @martyfelker, I have to agree—onedrive storage with file on demand is greatest thing going.

I Installed 1809 and now have the terrible unusable ugly dark themed Explorer, MS put no thoughts into. Does anyone know, if there is some registry flag you can set to get back white Explorer, without disabling ALL dark themes in other apps? This is just totally retarded... I want normal white Explorer, but dark themed in other apps like before. Not just one global retard flag all off or all on.

Dark theme completely foobar-ed, Look at save file menu window, can't read anything in white parts.

Yup, Paragon is good. Also good to have multiple backup environments for critical stuff.
