    Hi there

Not sure what it is with everybody who likes these dark themes - web sites as well. Must be everybody is depressed liking "The Dark sides".

Another one I find -- unless I'm going colour blind - I find impossible almost to read web sites as well when you have dark black background with text in blue

for example here's snipping tool with blue on even dark grey is not the most readable combination.

The main reason for a dark them is that it is more restful on the eyes.

Hmmm... I do like an option of dark as long as it's subtle... Explorer is like high contrast, it's not appealing - not to me anyway. You Theme Team guys will know more but just MHO.

I am really annoyed that there are not separate switches for dark components. I like dark start menu, I hate the dark
FE for same reasons as you - too high contrast.

IMNHO (N=not) FE Dark is dreadful - worse still I find it difficult to read at an angle on my laptop

Yup, Paragon is good. Also good to have multiple backup environments for critical stuff.

    Yup, it's horrible!
Not so horrible as UNUSABLE !!!

I have found Paragon to be too unreliable. Also completely fails on 32bit UEFI devices.

    Hi there

I think that is a case where the saying "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" applies here - I prefer lighter themes myself - but everybody is different.

However I agree with the Count here - whatever themes are used the content should be easily readable. !!

Imagine having e-commerce on a website and customers can't read the products on offer or place an order !!!

    Cheers

No, I can soon stop using camouflage (wig and sunglasses) to hide myself and change my avatar back to normal. They are pretty much ignoring me nowadays, Insider team and its members either blocking or muting me in social media.

I think I am safe now. Say no to fear
Ah that is what the new avatar is for.

I thought it was a turban so you looked like a cool version (with the shades) of Jim Mistry in the film "The Guru" given your number 1Guru status :-D.

You are right of course. It's just black and white.

It seems that I am (almost) alone in opposition here, I just love the dark Explorer. All Save As and other dialogs clear, pleasing my eyes.

In my case, I only have a minor, not game changing issue. In This PC, if Details pane is enabled and you select an external drive, MS has forgotten to change font colour in sentence "Connected to USB 3" under the drive details (see screenshot):

Anyway, I know which disks / drives are connected to USB, this one minor detail does not disturb me.
