Well, there's one way to test if it was pulled, or if it is limited to particular systems. Excuse me for a moment while I restore the 17134.285 image for a machine that got the KB4458469 update successfully through windows update on 20th. Back soon....

Links to rumors? Would love to read!
There are some folks over in the Microsoft Community Windows Insider forum who seem to be well connected. I haven't seen much in the last couple of days, though.

I have KB4458469 installed on two of my machines, both installed by checking for updates on 20th. I have had no apparent problems. Reliability history shows no problems either. I'm leaving it installed.
I agree with this reasoning, but. Would it also be reasonable to assume that in the next few CU's before the FCU that WU would send down the pipe an update that would supersede any fixes that is causing the presumed holdup of KB4458469?

Didn't you already do this test? Or is this one different?

No @Bree's earlier test was on a machine that did NOT have KB4458469 installed. He said "KB4458469 is nowhere to be found."

This later test is on a machine that DOES have KB4458469 installed...... I think!

He's restoring back to .285. Doesn't matter if he got it before. The restore will wipe that out.

It depends in what order updates and images were done. I think we should wait for @Bree to confirm either way

Correct. This test is on a machine that is known to have found KB4458469 on 20th. when clicking 'check for updates' in Windows Update. I'm currently restoring the image of the system it had at that time, so the test conditions will be identical to how they were on 20th.
