Hi,
I'm seeing kb4464218 showing up.
Hi,
Seems like a higher kb # update is all
If you follow the link where it shows it also still shows the one on this thread with the fix list though
Just thought it was weird no need to get snotty
Wasn't being (intentionally) snotty - it's just that CU KB4464218 (17134.286) is the previous update but it was only a couple of days ago.
That's the trouble with these frequent updates - especially when MS pull them almost immediately after releasing them! I rather suspect that the list to which you refer just hasn't been updated!
My wording on this didn't look right:Maybe this will help clarify:
I agree with this reasoning, but. Would it also be reasonable to assume that in the next few CU's before the FCU that WU would send down the pipe an update | to a machine that already has KB4458469 installed | that would supersede any fixes that is causing the presumed holdup of KB4458469?
Hi,
Well frankly it's a tad on the weird side to wonder why an update doesn't show up lol
I hardly ever update sure don't manually search/ install but for the sake of all of the inquiries I did just now
Before the 9/18/2018 last I updated was back in May 2018 I've been restoring system images back to then and just using it as long as possible for benchmarking
10 got cranky mostly windows defender so I had to update
My update list is short so maybe just maybe I never got the borking updates that created all of the fix list from this threads update who knows lol
Good luck with all of y'alls quest for this update.
If one really wants 1809 I assume this is all about just use the update advisor after it's said to be released which is what I do
The list at https://support.microsoft.com/help/4...update-history shows all released updates for all versions, some of which were only ever available from the Update Catalog. You can still get KB4458469 there, hence it should still be listed.
Hi,
I believe people just need a new hobby
