My bet - today Release Preview ring, october 9 public release.
I outbid you and say 16th. But honestly I do not care about GA, as long as they release ISOs today.

ETA - Tried the tool - got this: not something I want to pursue.

Well at least they ask for permission, there are some, who do not (uTorrent).

They don't normally release the ISOs before general availability.

MS actually never releases ISO for public, just allows creating it via MCT, but links should go live soon.

They were releasing new versions fairly rapid for a while. I wonder if 17663 is (basically) the 1809 version.

I just hope they DON'T release it until they are sure it is ready for dummies like me. I don't need problems, I seem to create too many of them on my own.

Yes it is. BUT they usual have at one significant update after GA/RTM.

I think it is looking like 17763 is essentially RTM. The thing to look for is whether these "Known issues" will be addressed before they post the "official" ISO and the 18xxx builds are available on the "official" Insider site. I am downloading 17758 Pro and 17758 Enterprise now (done) The following IMHO are cosmetic as far as I'm concerning (unless somebody here can confirm the first item - even then its just probably slightly annoying at most).

    Known issues

    • Task Manager is not reporting accurate CPU usage.
    • Arrows to expand “Background processes” in Task Manager are blinking constantly and weirdly.

Adguard is also prepped for the release, but still only zeroes there.
