does not work see some on MDL has released it with a bat file so need that for it to work

Download the 1809 product CAB file (products.cab), unblock and put to same folder with MediaCreationTool1803.exe:

Run MCT manually from elevated Command Prompt, forcing it to get 1809, replacing path with your actual one:

G:\1809\MediaCreationTool1803.exe /Selfhost

Works perfectly.
