"The OneSync service synchronizes data for the Mail, Calendar, and People apps."
How will the useful People app synch contacts if OneSynch is removed?
Hi there
Linux as main OS is looking more and more worthwhile and relagating Windows to VM's seems an increasingly good idea IMO.
Apart from Ms Office (sorry other Office clones out there - getting better but Ms Office is still by far the best --especially EXCEL) , Netflix / Sky video capture , SAPGUI and Photoshop I don't really need Windows any more.
Netflix etc work fine on Linux - it's my hardware video capture device that needs windows -- you can download Netflix etc to tablets / android but there seems a problem with allowing users to save video on Windows. I like to save stuff so I can watch offline --especially when travelling or hanging around in Airports etc.
Snipping tool works fine -- new thing is a piece of Bovine scatology. !! (that's polite English I believe for you know what).
Linux has for KDE desktop Ksnapshot which works fine - so if running windows as a VM simply Window the windows VM and take your snapshot. For non KDE plasma desktops / GUI there's I'm sure equivalent applications.
Why remove an app and replace it with something that has LESS functionality or useability than the thing it's replacing.
Linux Ksnapshot (you can save in a variety of formats too).
Cheers

Silly as it may be: so what's the nett result?
I can see more and more (relevant to me) functionalities being removed with each upgrade than (relevant to me) added?

I use Lightshot for screen capture - https://app.prntscr.com/en/download.html
Looks like Capture has delay and screen recorder that look interesting. I use FastStone Image Viewer as default pic viewer. It is simpler and more powerful than Paint.
Hi,
No snipping tool okay strike one
Windows photo viewer strike two
Regular paint strike three
Why not remove them all too much at once :/
