    Sorry posted in wrong thread.

Been having similar issues with 1770 though - gave up - gone back to 1803 base and upgrading from there - seems to be going fine at the moment....
    Done that. Got the T-shirt.

Argh - this failed to install from 1803 complaining some download files are missing. Do the MS kindergarten ever actually test an upgrade from the base 1803 version which is what most users will be doing soon!

Still got the broken notifications area if background apps are turned off.
    In the previous I said:
I have still problems with the action center.
When there are messages to read the action center screen is empty
In this build 17760 again same error
But here this goes also wrong with background apps turned ON !!

Well, this version is special on two counts:-

    1) it has no expiry date

    2) It has the ability to completely leave the Insider Programme - not just wait until next release.

These are prerequisites of an RTM build.

If we start getting normal updates now, that would be a strong RTM indicator also.

However with 1803, we saw 17134.1 and MS changed their policy and created 17134.15 as a new build upgrade.

Of course MS never actually tell us it is RTM to avoid embarrassment of having to "withdraw" RTM (pretty much what happened with 17134.1 when a major bug was identified at last moment).

That's a bummer. MS seems to be ignoring us.

Hmmm... I like to get a jump start on RTM (to see what breaks my apps) and was keen that "No Known Issues" popped up on this one...

    ...but then::

Same issue here. A restart of the WU process didn't get me any further either. Had to reboot once, then all went well to the finish line.

17760 installed and ISO created. No obvious errors. All seems fine.
