One of them at least recommended a fitbit. Wonder if they all are recommended as fitbit for purpose working for Microsoft?

    Hi folks
what is meant by an encrypted build -- I assume if you use the UUP-->ISO download things the iso gets converted correctly anyway.

Strange how this and previous build have caused various issues for me.

In 18237 now, after a cold boot fingerprint reader does not work when signing in, need to sign in with PIN. Start does not work Settings app does not work. I thought that I could get Settings opened by right clicking Desktop and selecting Display settings, but get this if I try:

Only solution is restart. After restart, I can again sign in with fingerprint, Start and Settings working as they should.

Yeah, everything is completely random, one can never know if, what, who and when it may hit.

Are you using multiple input languages / keyboard layouts? If yes, is it working for you? I get input language chosen randomly on each site and app. I open TF, input language is set to German, I'll change it to Finnish (it fully allows me to type in English), post something, close browser, re-open it and TF, now input language is set to UK English.

All my language settings are correctly set.

    Hi there
    @Kari

Same thing happens to me -- I have ENG(GB), ISL, FR and Dutch and languages switch randomly too

(BTW agree Blended scotch only useful for removing foul taste of coca cola or for flavouring Ice cream etc -- for Irish coffee I use Irish whiskey ) !!

    Cheers

I'm using only one system language (En-US) but multiple KBs and layouts. Two Serbian (Cyrillic and Latin), two English (US and Serbian layouts) and French. No problems with them anywhere.

I have set it correctly, Finnish should be my default input language, but as I often need to type for instance in German, I have selected Let me set a different input method for each app window. This allows (should allow) me to select any input language individually for each app, and this selection is remembered until I change it to something else.

Basically, it should be and was like this earlier: I could have Edge using Finnish keyboard, Word German, Excel Swedish, Notepad UK English and so on.

However, now this does not happen. It seems to be random, after a boot Windows might show input language as Swedish or EN-US, next boot something else. I open Word which should be using Finnish but keyboard is instead set to French.

BTW geeks, I am not saying or implying anything else than exactly what is said here below:

Insider team were sloppy on Wednesday and released an encrypted build, something that should never happen.

The same day, Apple had a big event broadcasted live around the globe, They announced new iPhones and iWatches.

One of the key players in Insider team responsible to give us new builds at least showed that he had very little interest in new Skippy release. These are the tweets from him starting just before the build release, and continuing until about an hour thereafter. Tweets, here's only a part of them in chronological order clearly showing this Insider team member was more interested to follow and live tweet Apple event than do his job. Human mistakes happen, especially if you are not concentrated in your job:
