I have read the "New Windows 10 Insider Preview Skip Ahead Build 18237 - September 12" announcement from front to back, copied it to a Word document, searched for both Macrium and Backup, and have found neither. It is like Microsoft has turned a blind eye to this issue that affects all who use Macrium Reflect to back up their computers! What gives, Microsoft?
To date, @f14tomcat has tested Build 18237 with these results:
New Windows 10 Insider Preview Skip Ahead Build 18237 - September 12 Insider - Page 6 - Windows 10 Forums
This presents a real problem for me because Macrium Reflect Pro is set to back up both my Version 1803 partition as well as my Skip Ahead partition. What this means is that every backup will fail because Skip Ahead Builds 18234 and 18237 give Error 9; thus, if I should be required to restore from Macrium, the Skip Ahead Build will not restore properly! It will be broken, even if it wasn't before I restored.
This requires me to modify my Macrium Reflect backup to exclude Skip Ahead Builds in future and rely on Macrium Free (patched) to back up Skip Ahead Builds.
This is a bunch of hoops Microsoft has created for me, without even acknowledging their error! You can bet your bottom dollar I will be giving feedback for this issue with no fix or acknowledgement forthcoming from Microsoft!
