Broke my Youtube sound, using Chromium-based browser. Aggravating!

Edit: It only muted my browser in the Sound Mixer, so it's sort of a false alarm.

No surprise that MS would try to mute Google products, so I should have known.

Had to install twice. 1st install didn't require a Restart.
OS version didn't change, but had partially installed like others here.
A Manual Check for updates found it again.
    Downloaded and Installed properly.
Now showing Version 1803 (OS Build 17134.285)

Performed another update, this time on an AMD system and it also did the double install just like on my Intel systems.

On my main computer I didn't have any installation issues, but on my secondary computer I had to check for updates a second time to get the CU to install (like many people here). Windows Update probably tried to install the CU on my secondary computer before the SSU had finished installing. My main computer has a PCIe SSD, while my secondary computer only has a HDD.

It's going to annoy me as to why I have to continually quote your posts to read them.

If it's a joke. care to share? If not, either you or I should really fix something.

    Is this yet another permutation?

Manual Check for Updates caused a visible download and installation of KB4457128 (and the routine stuff)

Requested Restart - after Restart, version is correct, KB4457128 has installed once correctly and is shown in
Update History and CP > Installed updates.

BUT KB4456655 also installed today (silently, apparently), but is ONLY shown in CP > Installed updates not in Update History

Now, to me, it APPEARS that KB4456655 installed first (before KB4457128) but cannot be sure.
If so, that would support the notion that KB4456655 is a prerequisite for KB4457128

In other words, my test PC did what it was meant to do but doesn't show all updates in all places.

    As ever....my brain hurts!

That's weird as I received them all at the same time.

My computer is a Dell XPS13 9350 machine.

I ran a manual check for updates today, and KB4457128 appeared as did an Adobe Flash update and an update for Windows Malicious Software tool. There was no update listed for KB4456655. All three updates appeared to download and install without incident. I re-started the machine. My system reports my Windows 10 version is 17134.285. I re-checked for updates and there were no new updates. Update History shows KB4457128 as installed, as well as the Adobe Flash update. But there is no KB4456655 update showing in Update History.

    Do I have a problem?
