Cumulative Update KB4457128 Windows 10 v1803 Build 17134.285 Sept. 11

Are you sure it says just the once @
krzemien? Check you Update History again. There may be only the one entry, but does it end with
(2) like mine does?
Attachment 203458
As a matter of fact it does! Quite peculiar, but hey...!

Intalled on both machines without any fuss. Everything went really smooth. My only concern is this (2) at the end of the line for KB4457128 successfully installed as depicted in my screenshot below:
Is it (2) referring to the necessary KB4456655 plus the CU KB4457128. Does anyone know what's going on? I have never seen it before.

The (2) is not present here...

Was it installed by checking for windows updates, or by downloading the standalone installer? The (2) has appeared on all my systems when windows update was used.

No, not 'come through' as such. It only downloaded the once, but a 'successfully installed' entry for it appears to have been added to the Update History as soon as it had downloaded. Here's my history after downloading, but before restarting to complete the install.
Bree, it showed up twice for me too, but installed only once, no problem.
This was a very minor update, I guess MS is picking nits getting ready for the big one.

Many have seen that. AIUI this CU prematurely records a successful install before the Restart, then again after the install is complete, read post #7 onwards. It doesn't actually install twice, it seems to be a harmless (but confusing) reporting bug.

Mine installed successfully on 2 PCs so far, but no (2) at the end on either one. I think @Bree may be onto something with his explanation. Thanks!

I saw that @Brink but in WU the CU was 1st then it seemed to be finished and it said to restart as always. After restart the CU did not install then I had to check again and received an error . If I would have looked at your first post , I would have known. Next time I will install it from here and NOT WU.

You said it right. It is more confusing than anything else. In my case, it is just a matter of curiosity since I have never seen it before this way.

By Windows Update ofcourse!
Only one defenition update from 9-8-18, KB2267602, but that's the ONLY (2) in the list....
