On another note, I've had 7 GSOD in two days. Annoying detail is that Windows does not create any dump files to let me analyze the culprit.

Most probably your mum was right. You've just got shitty laptops is all.

My spidey sense tells me 1809 RTM will be issued to Insiders next week......

I am thinking right to pass on any more updates as 17551.1 removed (1) all my pictures; (2) all my Calibre book items; (3) my Amazon kindle library; (4) all my lightroom catalogs; (5) all my Vm's. Yes I had backups but restoring over 100 gb of files is a pain.

Well, it usually is released two weeks before end of month unless something big crops up at last minute (as happened with 1803).

it created a new user profile folder for you.

I'm not an Insider, I find there are enough bugs in the RTM to keep me more than busy supporting the retail users here

But I do keep an eye on you Insiders to see what's coming my way, particularly like now in the run up to the next release. It seems to be a strong sign that this one is 'the one' when those bug fixes start coming as cumulative updates rather than a whole new build to download.
