Update: After shutting down last night, and booting up this morning, Task Manager seems to have reverted to its original state from yesterday. In order to change the size of Task Manager, I had to again right click on the top, then choose Size from the drop down menu.

This time, when I closed Task Manager and reopened it, I had to once more right click the top, then choose Size in order to change the size.

I wonder if this change is something Microsoft intentionally did?
Mine stayed same as I closed it but no free resize.

Well I don't get it... why are Skip builds being released during GA month?... surely this (and next month) should be dedicated to getting RTM ready and stable? Both from a dev. and Insider point of view...

19H1 is distracting now and can wait... IMHO.
I believe they're working diligently on RTM, since we've had three new Build releases recently. Didn't they just release another build in the last day or so? I think I need to do that update today.

I have Insider on one computer and Skip Ahead on another.

I have found that if there is an issue with the file structure with Windows that both updates and clones will fail. Before I update or clone my boot drive I usually run:
    run command prompt as administrator
    chkdsk (if errors chkdsk /f)
    sfc /scannow

My copy of Acronis WILL fail to clone if either of these have a unfixable failure and I then have to do a cold install.

All was negative when I checked.

You said you ran chkdsk. How about System File Check?

    Hi there

if any of you have Linux then DD works for copying the HDD -- checked also on restore -- wiped HDD and did restore

takes a while though -- as I said without MR this build isn't for me yet -- backup and restore is surely one of the most important features you need on any computing system.

Surely these testers at Ms must know the most popular brands of 3rd party software and at least check them out before releasing a product out of the door.

Time to bring these back into use I think :

that would make them do a bit more robust testing don't you think.

    Cheers
