Hi there
It's called I believe "Planned Obsolescence" -- you need bugs etc to create work for devolopers and testers plus also force people into updating / upgrading their products every so often.
Windows XP great example of that -- built on the basis of W2K3 Server (W2003 server) which was probably Ms's best and most stable OS it was phased out far earlier than it needed to have been - had Ms continued with the not much used but definitely great potential of the 64 bit version of XP we might have been spared all the horrors of Windows VIsta, 8 and 8.1 -- although we might not have had W7.
Still that's history - and lets face it a load of us are still getting (legally) Free upgrades to W10 via earlier OS'es and of course we have insider and skippy releases.
Cheers

Problem with MS is they think they are an entity to their own - only filtered info is released... this is unbecoming. No wonder people are up in arms about telemetry and stuff... they can't be trusted. Ninja cats and all.
Apart from the task manager glitch and with Macrium fixed everything seems to work OK for me.
I think..., I know they have a Mission and a Marketing Plan, and, if it inconveniences some, then that's just too damn bad!!!
