Curious ... those of you seeing the update sitting at 100% downloading for a long time. Do you have Delivery Optimization turned on ???

I usually have Delivery Optimization turned off, but I've been seeing this on my Laptop only for the last few IP updates. When I went to update my laptop, I checked and Delivery Optimization (local PC's) was on. I turned it off and it didn't sit at 100% downloading like it has been.

    Note:
    1. Desktop hasn't been doing this and Delivery Optimization is off
    2. Both PC's run IP's in a VirtualBox VM, if that makes a difference
Delivery optimisation is off but I'm also in a VB VM.

The issue for missing options in Spatial sound, like "Dolby Atmos for stereo speakers", "DTS:X", etc still not fixed. And click on "DTS Sound Unbound" brings out an empty Microsoft Store, need also fix this issue.

    Hi folks

On REAL hardware (not a VM) has anybody tested whether USB3 devices are recognized when plugged in.

Skippy build ***219 has a defect in that USB 3 devices only recognized if plugged in when computer booted

I want to test this build but if USB problem still there then I'l leave it.

Please ensure system is booted with no external USB 3 HDD's / SSD's connected.

Plug in after boot an ext USB3 HDD and see if it's recognized.

    Thanks to all testers !!.

    Cheers

I have now done an in-place install/repair in order to attempt to get Account Verify to work. NO GO! And, I still have that quirky task manager problem reported by @f14tomcat and many others. Sheeesh! Some little bug in this otherwise good build.

I have no USB 2 or 3 issues on a laptop running 17746, and on other laptop running Skippy 18219. No issues, both working just fine.

In fact, on both laptops, I have absolutely none of those issues other members have reported. No account verification issue, Action Center working and so on.

    Hi folks

    Thanks for that info

will try again - I've 100% ensured that Windows is up to date before downloading / installing this build

I'll also try on another machine -cold / clean install so will test both ways round -- seems on the whole to be a decent build.

    Cheers

Tried the update 3 times and each time it failed (installing update) at 43% and reverts back to the previous version. It flashes an error code but it doesn't stay on long enough to copy it. I have a Macrium disc image of a previous version and I'm going to restore that and then try the update again. The Insider installation (dual boot on separate SSD's with my Production Win 10) is a very vanilla installation. The only other programs installed are Office 365 and my recording studio program (Cakewalk Sonar).

    Hi there @fireberd

Computer INTEL / AMD just as a matter of interest -- cant install Skippy on AMD one but the previous build to this one installed so am trying this one now on AMD machine (HPE GEN 10 Microserver). Have you also tried clean install --use UUDUMP to get the build as an iso.

Also to anybody reading these posts - although if you are insiders you probably don't need the info -- ALWAYS BACK UP before installing or attempting installing these builds with decent backup software. Roll back doesn't always work if build install fails. !!

    Cheers
