Very uneventful update. 49 min to desktop and only 8 min off-air.
Action Centre fine, here.
But, mine still GSODs on sign out.
And we're off to the races. Both test machines just started the install process just now. As usual the i7 XPS 2720 is ripping way ahead of the Venue Pro 11 7130: the former is already downloading; the latter is at 93% "getting things ready." Also as usual, I'll update this post as and when interesting things happen (or don't).

[Added 24 mins later] XPS 2720 into first restart "Working on Updates"; Venue Pro 11 at 22% installing.
[Added 31 mins later] XPS 2720 is finished with a quick and successful install; Venue Pro 11 at 40% installling.
[Added 1:15 later] Venue Pro 11 into first restart, quickly into reboot, now "Working on Updates phase."
[Added 1:30 later] Venue Pro 11 booting into new OS, after a slow(er) and successful install. Indeed things are now more stable and predictable than they were 2-4 Fast Ring releases back. Glad to see progress with the 1809 release coming some time in the next 60 days.

The first upgrade failed and reverted back to the 17744 version. Redownloading now.
I have the strangest happening with this build. Went thru fine and quick, about 45 minutes, no errors anywhere. But, in Task Manager, the right-arrows (">") in the Processes Tab blink on and off to the rhythm of the refresh, every second. Two pics I managed to capture while it was doing it's dance. The ">" alternate between the 2 pics . On/off/on/off. First show in one pic, then the other, then the first, then the second. Back and forth...... just plain weird! Several restarts. no change. Just the dancing.
