Microsoft Store adds new Wish list option for all Windows 10 users
Posted: 24 Aug 2018
The Microsoft Store appears to have updated on the web and in the Microsoft Store app on Windows 10 devices to include a new Wish list option on video game and app product pages. It’s not showing up on Xbox One consoles nor Windows 10 Mobile Windows phones yet...
Hmmm, I’m not seeing this option. I wondered if store app needed to be updated but I checked for updates and it is the latest version that I have. Are we expecting an update to the store app to enable this feature soon or is this pushed server side (bearing in mind I don’t go in for any insider stuff)? Maybe this another US only feature at moment ? Or insider versions only?

I have looked at the game shown as an example by On MSFT. That is not the Store in their screenshot, that is the page you see in a web browser - and no, I don't see a wish list there either (or the 'Share' to its left either, come to that).

Ok so I guess it’s normal not to see it yet. Just frustrating, not that it doesn’t show but the fact that MS puts this news out there and gives no indication as whether it’s region specific or insider only or whether a store app update will happen for this (or does it just show up one day). A user could think ‘why is it not showing’ and jump through unnecessary hoops to try and ‘fix’ what is not fixable.
