    I was thinking that but this build is now running so well for me that I'm not so sure I want a new one just yet.

    Hence my statement. Can you honestly tell me that you've never thought "They are more interested in adding more filler than fixing longstanding problems in basic functionality"?
    I've believed that for a long, long time. And it bares out when you look at the things they are fixing each flight. Pushing Edge on people who don't want it, and working on emoji's instead of fixing more vital things all over this os.

    That’s why I want a new build. It’s so smooth it’s boring.

    Hi there

    @magilla :

    If you want to test a release with several defects in it : !!!

    Try the skippy build 18219 -- download via uupdump if you aren't on the program -- test defect with USB devices -- surprised that one wasn't spotted before the release was let out of the door -- you need to test though on real hardware not a VM. USB3 devices aren't recognized when "hot swapped" or plugged in after system has booted.

    A few other surprises in this build for the unwary too !!!

    (Back up existing systems first before installing though so you can easily revert).

    Cheers

    @jimbo45: I have that build on two computers, neither of which have a problem with USB3 and both are hardware based-not VM. Sorry you are having problems.
