Point is VERY well taken (not my first rodeo)...however, I average about 5 posts per month and if but a portion of one or two in three months are off course I would think it reasonable. Especially considering I don't pad my numbers like some, who are all too obvious about it with comments that are basically useless IMHO. And no, I do not expect nor want a reply to this statement. I'm quite secure in my position as one who is regularly ignored by most anyways, and in case y'all haven't noticed I generally like it that way, usually speaking only when trying to help others. Bless you all -Larry

The install....just not much change at all. Narrator's use must be less than 1%. We really need to test new features otherwise what is the point of 'testing' Skip Aheads? Yawn

But that is pointless as once RS5 is released, the Rings merge!

So Skippy should trail blaze some new features ASAP even if rough around the Edges - otherwise what is the point of it?
Agree 100% - even if you are not solicting a reply. I started out as an Insider lo those many years ago and for the first few months (they didn't have Skippy back then) the builds would.nt even sync with the Internet. Hard to believe but true - as they say you can look it up. I kept at them and finally they got it working. That's a wee bit more important than the triva(and regressions - WSL) reportadly fixed in this build. I don't use Edge and never will.

I'll see if the registry hack to sign up for skippy works in awhile. I'll see if even the Fast Ring installs on my new system my SSD and boot drive is the 3rd hard drive, not the 1st - I probably should have had my wife install the two terabyte HDD's rather than PC Land. No problemo for Linux.

I thought upgrading to 18219 would fix the Defender issue I have.

    So no go then

Perhaps Microsoft is getting this build as stable as possible in order to reintroduce Sets in an environment that allows it to work. ?

I'm only going to use Windows in Linux VMs - I donwloading Fedora 28 and will see if I can install that to the SSD. If that fails I will consider asking my wife to swap the order of the hard drives so the Windows installer(s) will work. But I can wait.
