I think they are too focused on finishing up RS5 to give the new skip ahead a lot of attention yet. So have a little patience.

But that is pointless as once RS5 is released, the Rings merge!

So Skippy should trail blaze some new features ASAP even if rough around the Edges - otherwise what is the point of it?

Updated with an ISO, no issues so far.

I don't really understand the point of it either, that's why I don't even bother looking at it. No one forces us to use it. They probably don't even know what should be in the next version to even include anything. Or they are so broken in the canary builds that having end users test them is pointless.

Just finished the update to this one but somehow it are taking too long to complete, the last 2 builds was a considerable amount of time increase.

It took about 100 minutes this is more than double of what I was doing before (around 40 minutes).

Well. nothing wrong with some bug squashing even with Skippy, only this time for probably least used features.

Wynona - Finally got ready to post back yet the new Build came in, so I let you get settled-in first. Love starting my mornings with good humor, and your usual witticism did not disappoint...thanks! My own AMD computing began when they finally started giving Intel processor speeds a run for their money (literal and figurative) during Windows XP's long streak.

Your point about Windows working on so many hardware configurations is spot-on, and that's why I never really understood all of that first-reflex bashing of MS and their OS as always liable. I see it thusly: Just as with any building, if an OS is to remain fit to dwell within, the hardware/driver foundation must remain solid.

Speaking of older'n dirt, my grandma (mom's mom) and great-aunt (grandma's sis) were renowned for their canning skills, which made for truly magical recipes. Humor me, if you will, with a shortlist of intended dishes to be created with that chicken stock you recently canned. Huh? Huh? Btw, the only time I break out a Mason jar is for sweet lemon iced tea!

Just back from McD. Trying to get a NIC working on a IBM 5150.
fjk61011 - Does that 5150 PC have the original IBM 5151 Monitor (LCD) as sold in 1981? If so, and if you are interested, I've got the Total Chaos game in both BASIC Binary (.ba) & BASIC ASCII (.do) that work on my TRS-80 model 200 laptop (1984). Feel free to PM me and I'll .zip it to ya! Just give me time to finish todays duties, then research how Personal Messaging works on TenForums.

Ummm, OK, but only a short list . . .

You can use it with potatoes, rice, all kinds of veggies and in soups and stews. Cooking with the broth gives recipes a different and better flavor. Just replace water with chicken stock.

And now, or we're gonna get chastised. . .

Point is VERY well taken (not my first rodeo)...however, I average about 5 posts per month and if but a portion of one or two in three months are off course I would think it reasonable. Especially considering I don't pad my numbers like some, who are all too obvious about it with comments that are basically useless IMHO. And no, I do not expect nor want a reply to this statement. I'm quite secure in my position as one who is regularly ignored by most anyways, and in case y'all haven't noticed I generally like it that way, usually speaking only when trying to help others. Bless you all -Larry
