Thursday, long enough to do work after a weekend and not Friday when everybody just wants to go home. Wednesdays and Thursdays are most productive days in industry and that's when cars for instance are of best quality.
    Monday - hangower.
    Tuesday - Getting started
    Wednesday - Let's catch up
    Thursday - Work finally done
Friday - I wanna go home, hurry up and finish for the week.

Wednesday is Hump day. Everyone wants to just finish the work day so they can go out and wind down for awhile. Mondays and Fridays are the worst days for production.

Wednesday is Hump Day because it's the middle of the work week.
