Well I have 2 of 3 systems updated most everything seems ok. But I did notice a unique problem with FireFox. I have a couple of those Netgear ARLO camera's and they have a logon portal where you can setup, change camera functions, perform live views, etc. Well they use Adobe Flash viewer and under FireFox you have to manually allow the use of Flash. For each camera, you can check the battery status (which now no-longer works), run "Live View" which used to have a button in the middle of the screen and was visible (now its still there but to show it you have to fly the cursor over it). When using "Live View", there were a series of buttons at the bottom of the screen to perform recordings, turn on the microphone, etc. Well now you have to fly the cursor over the general area to see them and it looks like the only choice is to "Pause" the "Live View". I tried EDGE, IE and Chrome and they all work correctly. Obviously its a FF problem. I really don't know if this was caused by the Flash security update, or the actual MS CU ? If anybody else sees this problem and you have a fix Post your fix here.

Update: When I stated earlier, Edge works for the "Live View" function, but fails when trying to view an existing earlier recorded video that is stored on their server. The only browser that works completely is Chrome.

Had to do an update: As of today all browsers are now working with my ARLO camera's except for EDGE. The only thing that has changed is that all systems have been powered off and on at least twice, when FireFox began working. EDGE still cannot play stored videos off of the Netgear server where all the videos are initially stored. Since I don't often use it, I don't care.

In Fx\Add-ons\Plugins, do you have (or even want) Shockwave Flash set to Always Activaate?

You probably still have the BSOD dump files on your machine. See this thread, and follow instructions for posting to it. They are smart cookies, they can help.

It is good to be the corporate memory on the backside of the keyboard so you can actually help your family members who have no desire to try and understand or learn this computer thing and how it works.

Very thankful that I can help you and them when I can.

Screen Flicker on Boot After Update

    Hi,

I updated yesterday and now when my pc boots the brand name comes up, then the screen flashes off and on and the brand name is back up again and normal boot resumes.

Anyone else see this occurrence or have any ideas?
