Hmmmm. Stuck at 61% for some time now. Wondering if my personal road to the latest build might not have a few bumps in it. Will report back later with more info...

[PS Added ~90 minutes later] Took a break to go shoot some pool upstairs. When I got back, the machine was at the "Restart required" phase. Fired it off, and 10 minutes later I'm running 17733.1000. Was feeling a little antsy that recent problems might recur, but after my recent clean install things seem to be working as I'd like them to. Sigh (with relief).

Ok, I actually do not like FE dark mode, as it is less clear when viewed at an angle on my laptop. However, you cannot turn it off without turning off dark mode for all items.

I don't like the dark mode anywhere, may have to do with my color perception ability???

Updated Desktop Win10 Pro IP VM to 17733 ... Update was smooth and everything appears to be working as it should. Only glitch was OneDrive, for whatever reason created two new Desktop folders (Desktop1 & Desktop2) in c:\users\me\onedrive and was a bit of pain to fix.

Updating Laptop Win10 Pro IP VM now :)

Just noticed it was ready for a restart. Couldn't believe how quick it was from there. 5 min to password entry then a couple more to desktop.

Wonder what they did to get downtime this low?

1st boot after update I had a Desktop with my normal icons but a black background. Rebooted and now it's got the correct theme. A bit disconcerting.
